Tinting/Lash Lifting/Lamination:
-
Avoid water: Don't get your lashes or brows wet for 24–48 hours. Water can prevent the lifting solution from setting properly, causing your lashes to lose their shape.
-
Avoid heat: Avoid heat treatments, saunas, hot showers, and direct sunlight for 24–48 hours. Heat can weaken the hold before your lashes or brows have fully set.
-
Avoid makeup: Don't apply eye makeup, such as mascara, eyeliner, or eyebrow makeup, for 24–48 hours. These products can weigh down the hair and disrupt the hold.
-
Avoid touching: Don't touch or rub your eyes or eyelashes for 24 hours.
-
Sleep on your back: Sleep on your back for up to two days after treatment to avoid crushing your lashes.
-
Use a lash conditioner: Use a lash conditioner daily, such as castor or keratin oil.
-
Use a gentle makeup remover: Use a gentle makeup remover and avoid oil-based products.
-
Brush your lashes: Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie.
-
Apply a lash serum: Apply a lash serum to nourish and strengthen your lashes.
Facial:
-
Avoiding makeup: Wait at least 6–8 hours before applying makeup to allow your skin to settle and absorb the treatment's ingredients.
-
Using gentle products: Wash your face with a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser or foam using lukewarm water and your fingertips. Avoid harsh products, exfoliants, masks, and active ingredients for a few days.
-
Moisturising: Use a moisturiser to keep your skin soft and supple.
-
Protecting from the sun: Use an SPF sunscreen to block ultraviolet B rays. Avoid sunbathing and direct heat from saunas, hot baths, showers, or hot hairdryers for up to 48 hours.
-
Drinking water: Drink plenty of water, at least 6–8 glasses per day.
-
Eating well: Eat a healthy, balanced diet that includes at least five portions of fruit and vegetables.
-
Avoiding other treatments: Avoid other facial skincare treatments for 48 hours.
-
Avoiding touching your face: Don't touch or rub your face.
-
Removing makeup at night: Remove all traces of makeup at the end of the day.
-
Consider your next facial: Think about when you'll schedule your next facial, ideally in 4 weeks.
Massage:
-
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water or herbal tea to help your body eliminate toxins and reduce fatigue.
-
Eat well: Eat healthy foods and light meals throughout the day. Avoid heavy meals right after your massage.
-
Rest: Get enough rest and relaxation. Avoid strenuous activity to avoid injury.
-
Avoid substances: Avoid smoking, alcohol, caffeine, and fizzy drinks for at least 24 hours.
-
Stretch: Gently stretch or do light exercise if your therapist recommends it.
-
Take a bath: Take a warm bath or shower with Epsom salts to soothe sore muscles. Wait at least two to three hours after your massage before taking a bath.
-
Self-massage: Use lotions, moisturisers, or essential oils to hydrate your skin and massage yourself.
-
Consider products: Use therapeutic products for pain, soreness, and inflammation. You can also use diffusers with your favorite scent to help you relax.
-
Consider your next massage: Think about when you'll schedule your next massage.
